| Share the books you are currently reading, plan to read or read of late with the community, give critique or recommend.
I recently finished A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, part one) and fully recommend it to you. The plot is complex and intriguing, it is well-written and suspenseful, and though there is a large number of characters, many have a complex personality. A must-have in my opinion, and I will certainly be reading the other parts of the series.

| I'm reading Lord of the Rings. I've finished both the Hobbit and the Fellowship o/t Ring, so now I'm somewhere in the beginning of the Two Towers. May I add it is awesome in pure definition of the word. | |

I have to agree here. If the Middle-Earth mythology and history interests you, you might want to read The Silmarillion; however, the writing style is partly slightly "history-book-like". I became used to it, however, and I am currently reading Unfinished Tales (a similar style) and enjoy it very much.

| I am going to start on A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire II) tonight. After having enjoyed Part I so much, I hope this one will be equally good. | |

| Not very well; I gave up on the idea I was working on, and would like to write some futuristic fantasy, but have no inspiration yet. | |

| Get a wii and Metroid Prime triology, read a book called "Dune" or maybe play halo. Or else i could always come up with a freaky idea. And iff you need descriptions of an experience that i might have done or have an idea of what is like i'll gladly help. I may not have perfect english, but my fantasy is good enough. | |

| A Clash of Kings did not have a very good start; I am currently rereading Lord of the Rings. I am close to the ending of the Fellowship; they are currently in Lothlórien. Great books. | |

| Tad Williams - Otherland Very good style, story, setting and characters; big recommendation.
Jean-Paul Sartre - Iron in the Soul Just started; this made a very positive impression on me so far.
Jean-Paul Sartre - Existentialism and Human Emotions A rather hard, but in general, very good read. Requires interest in philosophy, but no knowledge of the subject.

| Three books on the go? Geez. I'm currently reading a 700 page book called the balance of power its mainly about American politics, involves complex understanding of the law among other things. | |

| Read Cornelia Funke's Reckless yesterday and must say - her other stuff (e.g. Inkheart) was better. Reckless wasn't bad, and especially the idea seems good to me, but the way it was put into writing could have been greatly improved. The characters didn't have much depth either. And it was too short - not that I would mind that, but it seemed slightly rushed in places. | |

| Otherland - Mountain of Black Glass Even though I'm rereading the series, it's still as awesome and addictive at the first time. I was up till 3 last night reading it. Why, oh why does it have to end?
George Orweel - 1984 Just my usual dystopia obsession. So far, very good writing and story. The other stuff I read by the author (Down and Out of Paris and London/Animal Farm) was very good as well.

Good choice, I read 1984. If you're interested in dystopia, I can only recommend it.
