PostSubject: Re: The World that was Broken (Carpe Noctem)   The World that was Broken (Carpe Noctem) - Page 2 EmptyFri Nov 19, 2010 12:15 pm

The edge of "The broken galaxy"Jackoy stared out of the window, when suddenly a ship appeared out of nowhere. He was suprised that anyone would find them out here. So Jackoy floated to Vhor and woke him up.
"Hey Vhor! Wake up, there is a ship here!" Jackoy said over the radio. Vhor didn't answear. Jackoy tried to shake him, but he wouldn't wake up. Then Jackoy saw the flaw in Vhor's spacesuit. It was just a small rift, but big enough to slowly drain the oxygen from your suit without noticing. Sadness filled Jackoy heart, and tears fell from his eyes. They two had hoped to make it together, and such a stupid thing had been enough to kill him.
It must have happened when he was out checking for external damages, thought Jackoy, and he loosened the grip around Vhor.
"Im leaving you forever now my friend, here in this spaceship," whispered Jackoy. And he prepared an intergalactic emergency flare to fire. With a last look at his friend, Jackoy accepted it and he floated against the exit. He could lament later, but now it was time to save his own life. Carefully, he opened the hatch, and fired the flare, then he used the thrusters built in the spacesuit, he moved into sight for the other ship, and he activated the lights on his suit too. He was getting out of here now. He was saved, or so he thought.

- Galactic Edge, Relica -
Daerius noticed something outside of the window, a flare. Small Taomis creatures, Shadow gunners fired joint lazers, destroying the flare, then turned onto Jackoy's ship. Fifteen beams flew towards the enemy ship.
Daerius looked at the ship and then turned away. A sorceror teleported into the room, annoying Daerius. He always hated the Sorcerors who considered themselves 'Superior' to other Taomis forms. Still, he found them useful. Not in the least that they could survive without air, another trait that annoyed Daerius. Still, they had there uses. Occasionally. He thought.

The edge of "The broken galaxy"

The shockwave from the exploding flare sent Jackoy flying backwards, he tried to win control again with his thrusters, but the speed was too high. Ten seconds later, Jackoy didn't have anything against being fling out in space by exploding flares, cause only seconds later, fifteen beams hit the ship, and it went into the air. Luckily Jackoy managed to dodge the pieces from the wreck. Suprisingly enough, Vhor's body was still intact and it floated just where the ship had been.
So it's designed to leave organic life forms? Could have been improved, but it's still efficient, thought Jackoy, and he slowed down his speed, and won contrlo again. Then he turned off his lights and floated against the ship, slowly. Hopefully the didn't have any tracking device that could find him, cause then he would be toast.
I just have to get in, and hide until we land on a planet, then i could escape and find another ship, and get out of there, it sounded like a good plan, but everything was depending on if they had some kind of tracking device or not.

- Relica -
"Send the Shadow Gunners to search the wreckage for any salvagable Materials, and send a Shadow Sorceror too" Daerius hissed to Indain.
"Excelleny, you do know that I am your... what was that lovely Proto phrase?"
" 'Your Immediate Superior' So you might want to direct your anger at something else" Suggested the Indi Sorceror calmly.
"And you could destroy me and my blade?" Daerius asked angrily.
"Well... I have two Indi Golaths to summon, twenty Indi Menians in this room, oh, the Sorcerors are also loyal to me, not you"
Daerius was about to reply then focused his attention on something else, not bothering to argue with the Indi Sorceror

- Relica Exterior -
The two Shadow Gunners glided from the top of the ship with a Sorceror following them using magic to move around in the Vacuum. They glided out of the large spires that formed the ship and went towards the debris of the Ship they just destroyed.

- Jackoy's Ship Debris -
The Shadow Sorceror glided past two chunks of metal that were floating around while the Shadow Gunners rushed ahead of him, being faster and not needing magical assisstance to travel the Vacuum of space. One of the Gunners stopped and raised a smaller Sorceror Crystal, it formed five beams of purest darkness to the crystal which directed it into a blackened beam nearly invisible in space that flew into a large piece of debris. The Debris exploded, causing twenty more smaller pieces to fly into space. The Shadow Gunner raised slightly then zoomed in a zig zag motion around the floating rubble of the ship.

Zháril, 5 minutes ago - Kianne
Najien's stricken eyes told her something was wrong, even though she did not know what.Paevarn's glee did nont look right to her as he gloated over his words.
But only when the policeman lifted his bony, strong hand and struck Najien with full force did she understand. The dark drop of blood that wetted the dust between his clawed feet wakened her.
She stared in horror at the spot of deep, sanguine red on the street, not knowing what to do. The sound of Najien's footfall turned her glance aside. He ran away blindly, not caring for dignity and without a word of farewell.
Kianne wailed. Paevarn grinned stupidy, or so it seemed o her. "At last -"
She turned away. Najien had vanished around a corner.
Go, she urged herself.
Kianne sped after him.

Zháril - Najien
The little girl stopped in front of him, flushed and out of breath. They stood in the midst of rubble, darkness enclosing on them again after their eyes had been accustomed to the brightness next to the fires of the survivors.
Shivering from the cold that seemed new and cruel as well, he knelt and put his arms around Kianne. She was shaking, her heart pounding rapidly against his shoulder. "Kianne", he asked quietly, almost in a whisper, "why did you go? It is warm and bright there, other people are there, and..." His voice trailed off. "Come on. I can't go back. You can."
She shoook her head in defiance.
Slowly, Najien released her and stood up again, wondering if this change was for good or bad though joy filled his heart.
Footsteps echoed through the corridor-like allyways, magnified through the thick concrete walls that seemed so hollow to him. He could not tell how far away they were.
Will they come after me?, he asked himself in sudden fright.
No. Why should the. They don't want to. No... They wouldn't. They wouldn't.
Then he realised. It's Kianne.

Slightly fearful of what lied ahead Align stepped aboard the Furthernals ship, hearing the soft metallic sound of his feat hitting the floor. A young Furthernal approached "Greetings Kartrax, please make the use of our ship as you wish, just don't take to long or get the controls dirty with your Kartrax fingers" Align sighed, it was typical of a Furthernal to be so rude, and he did not blame them. Unlike the Kartrax the Furthernals ran on a need to know structure. This young-ling had no idea why he was shipping a Kartrax to the other side of the solar system, he had no idea who he was or what he did. In his ignorance Align forgave him. Young Align, you see sense where others do not, oh noble Align the voice of the Deity echoed in his mind. Casting it aside he walked into the pilots room, uninvited by the Furthernals

AM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lUgqeO1ZxM

Jackoy looked for an entrance, but he couldn't find any, so he went to the other side of the ship. There he saw a big hole into the first floor. Wierdly enough, Jackoy couldn't see how the oxygen in the ship was held in place. Advanced technology, he guessed. At the moment he got inside the ship, he fell. He had forgotten everything about gravity. He stood up again, and looked around. A big totem like statue was located in the middle of the room. Jackoy lifted off his helmet, and attatched the small eye computer, in front of his ears. The translator wasn't able to transfer it to Terrakish, so Jackoy just randomly walked down a hallway. As he waslked, he came to think of that the ship was really silent for such a big ship to be.
Eventually, he reached a door, and it wasn't closed and he just walked itno the room. Empty. Noone were there. In the middle, there was a pillar with glowing letters. He searched the room for a place to hide. Then he found a space behind a panel in the wall. This will do, thought Jackoy and he could finally get a little sleep after the chaos. Then he came to think of Vhor.

Rest in peace,
in the space,
a true warriors call at all

Jackoy repeated the poem for himselves a couple of times. He liked that, he had once made it when he was kid, but he still remembered it, and now, he needed it. He didn't need it to come over the sorrow, but to remember Vhor, as the warrior he had been.

OOC: Nice AM, Tord.
IC:

Day 2 after the Sharding
They ran away from their pusuers, deep into the labyrinth-like warren of alleyways, stepping over fallen slabs, split and shattered on the hard street, rubble and bodies sprawled out in the dust in grotesque poses. Long after they were alone, Najien still heard footsteps ringing in his ears, driving him on. Many a shadow seemed alive to him, grasping for his shoulder with black and chilly hands. A cold and dead eye glinted in the starlight, peering up at him eerily.
Kianne's wailing beside him - she was cold, she was hungry, she wanted to go back - died down to a background noise, and her hands that clung to his side were hardly noticeable on his numb flesh.
After some time, they passed the ruin of a small foodstore. The two recovered food, a lighter, razor and bottles of frozen water from the building.
Where shall I go?, Najien asked himself. Despair seemed omnipresent. No way opened up to him. And if it did? He was a murderer.

In due time, not following any paths or knowing where they were going, they came upon a little hill and looked down upon the darkness of the ruined city.
But one thing caught their eyes.

The lights of the spaceport were glowing.

OOC: Argh, terrible post. I'm just not roleplaying well currently.

Small room in Relica

Jackoy sat squeezed into the room. No matter how much he wanted to go out and strech his legs, he always kept himselves from doing so. From his pocket, Jackoy fished out some energy bars. They tasted like nuts, and made him feel a less hungry. When he got bored, he tried to make a simple game on his eye computer. He always ended up with an old shool shooting game. Even though they were thousands of years old, they were still worth playing if you were REALLY bored, as Jackoy was now. Among the programs on his eye computer, there was a program creator, translator, clock, calendar, the game he just had created and some others. After testing them all, Jackoy had gotten even more bored.
I chose this, and this is the price for survival. Come on Jackoy, it's not that bad, he thought and cheered up.

- Relica, Dark Shrine -
The door on the other end of the room hissed and forced itself open. A large creature, familiar to Jackoy, stepped into the room followed by a small, floating blue creature with four crystals following it. The crystals went into four corners into the room and threw dark energy at a empty space in the middle, a small figure appeared. It would of been humanoid if the Dark Hologram was not covered in plants.
"Milady, we have discovered that Darkius have retreated to Ranol" Daerius said.
"It is Ranel, Ranol is a mispelling by... the Proto's" She replied, "Excellent, the... ship must be there, I want you to get to Ranel quickly. Do not fail me again Daerius." She turned to the Indi Sorceror. "Tia, I require your service at the Idolan System".
"It shall be done" She said, before disappearing along with the Hologram and the Crystals.

Dark Shrine

Jackoy heard footsteps, and he suddenly felt that the room became hotter. A dark glow came in from a small crack in the wall.
"Milady, we have discovered that Darkius have retreated to Ranol" a voice said.
"It is Ranel, Ranol is a mispelling by..." Jackoy moved a little closer to hear what they said.
"...ellent, the... ship must be there, I want you to get to Ranel quickly. Do not fail me again Dae... ...uire your service at the... ...an system," A clear voice from the other side of the room said: "It shall be done," then the light disappeared and the room cooled down. Jackoy heard some more footsteps outside. Only one pair of feet.
This has to bee some kind of teleporting room, thought Jackoy. Not much of the information from the conversation had helped him.

OOC: Sorry for the delay.

Zháril - Day 3 after the Sharding

Evil had befallen Zháril in a way they had not feared in their worst nightmares, but in one place, they had been almost miracleously lucky. Though buildings had collapsed, streets had cracked and all had been plunged into chaos, the spaceport had remained intact - and with it their means of interstellar transport, their only way to reach and travel through what remained of the galaxy.
Even from their high and far-away place, Najien could see this; the building was lit up, the lights glowing like will-o' the-wisps in the darkness. The dark shadows of spacecraft were visible around it, seeming small and far-away to Najien. And yet smaller, almost ant-like, the shapes of other Iyrlen were moving about the port, immersed in their tasks.

Would they recognise me? Could I be escape from this solitude there Najien asked himself.
Kianne's presence would give him away if Paevarn and the other survivors also made their way to the port, he knew; but surely he could postpone leaving her.
But she is only hindering you, a small voice in his mind said, you are bound to her feelings, her fears, her childness. And you are risking your own life by keeping her.
Najien hated himself for even thinking these things a moment later, but even more for the knowledge that he would have to do this.

"Come, Kianne. We're going."
"I'm cold..."

AM: Revolution to the Origin

- Relica, Interior -

Daerius walked around the shrine.
"Milord, Intacan requests your presence at the bridge" A clear voice stated.
"I will be there" Daerius hissed. His heavy footsteps could be heard banging against the steel as the door hissed open and he left the room. He walked down a hallway which would of caused clear revulsion in other races. The Taomis's plant life had clearing infested the hallway walls. It pulsated slowly, purple pollen floated in the air passing Daerius. He wondered why they had the pollen in their ships. It only affected the primitive creatures on planets by choice. He walked to a door which glowed purple as he approached and it hissed open. He stood inside the large elevator, which began to glow a purpleish tint as it descended upwards. The elevator stopped suddenly almost brushing Daerius off the side. A door on the other side slid open. Daerius went through the door and entered the bridge. He looked around, its grayish controls were being worked on by plant-like tentactles which pressed certain buttons on the panels. They were being directed by a red Xiitai the Proto's called 'Control Sorcerors'. Daerius went over to the Icatar, technially a Blue Xiitai known as 'Indi Sorcerors'. The Indi Sorceror blowed. "Daerius, this is what you need to see"
Daerius looked out of the window and a silver ship was there.
"Interesting, send a party to check it, if its clear attach it to this ship so we can scavenge it." Daerius said.

- Unknown Ship -
The creatures claw slid over its spear, its armoured head moved to speak to the other.
"We shall stealth, then attack then on their own ship" It hissed to the other.
The other clawed against the floor in acknowledgement, they both disappeared into the cackling air.

In Jackoy's small room, he suddenly heard noises from all around the ship. "What is going on?" he thought. He opened the panel in front of him, and stepped out. The sounds were much more clearer now. Something was going on...

Xal stirried.
It examined the ruins of planets and stars.
Where had they gone?
It settled on a large comet, it's wing-like tentacles latching onto the rock's surface.
Xal nodded to herself.
This would do.

OOC: Since Elynay has No Ideas, I have graciously offered to write something instead to revive this roleplay while he thinks about whatever goody-two-shoe races and deities like his think about. Now, back to the Forces of Evil...

AM:

- Relica, Talia Nidoria -
Intacan hissed something.
"Stop, Daerius, Theres something more important then that ship." The Indi Sorcerer suddenly stated.
Daerius glared at the Sorcerer for a moment.
"What is it now?" He hissed angrily.
The Indi Sorcerer's staff appeared and he used it to press seven different buttons on the console.
A hologram began playing in a ancient language not even Daerius could comprehend.
"Its Darkai Loran, their language, Katalana." The Sorcerer informed him.
"And how do you know the language of a long extinct race?" Daerius retorted.
"Talica Naeval, tia sindal tar, Equalitia tia Orgin, Revalation tar nagisu naven tooal Indaryai Imperiour Tial Protoans, Protos, tas naw kown" He informed Daerius, who glared at the sorcerer in anger.
"For the Record, I met Emperor, Protal, you've met him before, Protal Loran. And you appearently appear to be forgetting about Ranel." He began, adding, "Fortunately for you Daerius, I decided to set the coordinates, this is my ship, afterall."

Xal clung to the rock and looked around.
She sighed to herself, alone without any meant of rescue.
Well, it could be worse. The shadowy spider/squid-like thing stayed still.

OOC: Because Elynae lied, the Forces of Evil will post and then hunt him down with a Balrog of Morgoth.

AM: Welcome, to the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. Memories of Ranel...

- Over Ranel -
The Taomis ship suddenly exited 'slipspace'.
The calm planet seemed like a jewel in the darkness of space.
The Indi Sorcerer was completely suprised at the fact it was untouched by the shattering, but then he sensed the Megista the planet was emitting. This suprised him even more.
Daerius left the bridge.
Intacan looked out of the window.
"My... how could of Devoria... how did she not know?... This... isn't Relic A... Its... Relic Z..." He grasped the concept quickly. Thinking furiously. "No. Surely, she couldn't of known, but if this is true, then... Of course it is true, the megista, its His. I know where you are now..."
The Indi Sorcerer drew close to the planet and the launched four Talynar Taomis down, they rushed towards the planet and disappeared into the atmosphere.

- Ranel Ground -
A purple Talynar Taomis hit the ground and specks of dirt flew up into the air as the dark plant extended its roots into the ground. Three pods fell after it, the Indi Sorcerer, Intacan was in the first one, and two Chaos Harbingers. (Note: The Database lists Katari as Dark Harbingers, Chaos are gold and stronger and other features) The Sorcerer instantly felt the Megista currently on the planet...
"Tell Daerius to send the Kalta'nal down, there is alot of digging to be done."

- Space -
The space split open like a pair of jagged jaws before the drifting rock.
XalRaento detached and pushed away, like a fly evading a giant hand. She monitored the rift. A needle-shaped ship appeared through a smooth portal behind her, then ten more.
After a few moments, fifty ships stood, like giant icicles, before the rift.
Something shot out of it, crashing into Xal's craft and ripping it to pieces. The thing uncurled, reached out with a spider-like leg and latched onto the nearest Needle.
The other ships fired laser-like beams at the thing, causing the nose of their allied ship to crumple and explode in a small inferno.
The thing, now looking like a huge Serpent, moved next to the next Needle.
The ship's Portal-Creator made a portal. The ship entered.

- Ranel -
Two more pods fell down and seventeen small creatures came out of them.
They began to dig out the ground.

- Protis, Darkai Vaula -
The Proto Emperer ran across the hard floor and entered another elevator, followed by his royal guard and numerous Darkai Vultans followed, firing purple beams at Taomis Diminions as the elevator descended, they then flew off down a hole as the elevator moved downwards.
"Still, how did the Taomis slip past our defenses?" The Emperer inquired.
"The... events that are happening took out the anti-air defenses, they got past them most likely." The Librarian suddenly said, humming. He then flew past the elevator and through a broken door with a hole.

- Other side of Portal, Needle ship 'The Prophecy' -
- Over Ranel -
The Prophecy exited the portal, and it closed behind them.
The Serpent-like thing was spreading some sort of shadow over it's hull, and the ship was screaming out for anything that could do anything to help, or even to destroy, it.

- Relica -
The Sorcerer left in command saw a ship enter orbit.
"More meddlers, ready the Talynar" He hissed.

- Relica, Dark Shrine -
Daerius entered the room and a hologram appeared.
"Daerius, we have a problem" Began Devoria.
"Indayri has, well... revolted, expect her forces to arrive soon, she modified the old strains we use right now, I want them all destroyed. Especially her 'Chaos Sorcerers'" Davoria said.
"It shall be done."

- Ranel -
The ship was now broadcasting a single message on an open channel, over and over again, stating, simply;
"I have returned."
The ship started firing it's beams in random directions.

- Over Ranel -
The Taomis ship fired strange projectiles at the new ship.
There was no indication if they heard the message.
The Projectiles were plants.
A new ship jumped into the system.
This new ship, black and purple, flew straight past the two ships without noticing them.

- Relica(Taomis Collective) -
The Shadow Sorcerer hissed at the new ships appearance.
It walked across the room and hit a console in anger.
"So, Indayri, this will be fun... Two enemies at once..."
The Shadow Sorcerer laughed madly.

- Shattered Spear(Nal'vata Loran) -
Indayri carefully examined a small item in a tank, a egg.
"Tikal, get me the Kila'tal, this is a Dracora egg..."
The Chaos Sorcerer floated off.
"So, they want to see what I am capable of?" Indayri giggled.
"Soon, soon..."

- Over Ranel -
The Prophecy jolted slightly as it was hit.
A portal opened on the side of the ship, and a wave of Warrior-Serpents slithered out, raising their claws.
Exactly what they planned to do was unclear, perhaps force their enemy to remain still, while the ship could be destroyed.

A few more Needles entered the system via portals. They didn't make any calls.
Rather than the blue-and-purple of the Warrior-Serpent ship, these were the charcoal black of the Wraiths.
Then they cloaked.

OOC: If Elynae does not post soon, the Forces of Evil will be triumphant.
- Over Ranel -
Indayari's ship flew into Ranels Atmosphere.

- Ranel -
Seven pods flew into the ground, and three Chaos Sorcerers emerged from them. Their shadow magics flew into the Shadow Sorcerers, who died.
Intacan hissed and disappeared.

- Cavalia Talia -
Daerius walked through the caves they had dug into.
"This, ah, this is it... behind this door." He said.
"Sigal, nay locken." Daerius announced in Taomis.
"Easy to sort out." He threw his sword into the door, breaking it.
