The Harsh Skies I - Journey to the new lands

OOC: i sorta write in both.i totally hate it being fixed on one tense

Breath looks at the floor which starts to jolt.
"What's this again?" He makes a >.=.< face.

Espik's expression suddenly changes to a slightly fearful one.
"Run! Big hunter back!"
She tuned and half-ran and half-fluttered over the log again.

Breath turns and runs after Espik.
It's not really easy for him cause of Tehra who is still on his back but he keeps up with her.
"Big *huffs* hunter?" He asked.
It's getting all weird for him.

Tehra jumps onto Espik's back to make it easier for Breath to run.
"It try to eat me!" Espik spluttered as she ran.

"Eat you?" He gets a o.=.O expression and runs right beside Espik.
At least Tehra is down from his back which makes it much more easy for him to run.
"I'm not planning to get eaten now..not the right time for a meal weeeeh" He said half annoyed.

Espik squealed slightly as she slipped on a wet leaf and fell face-first into a small river.

"Naww,what else can go wrong?" He slides to the side right after Espik into the small river.
The water feels good on his body and he swims towards Espik.
"Being a waterdragon seems to be usefull at times" He thinks to himself.
After some moments he reaches her.

Espik meeped and grabbed hold of a rock sticking out of the water.
She looked around.
"Do you see any hidey places?"

Breath swims beside her and also looks around.
His glares are fixed on a Tree which has a small hole inside and he points on it.
"Do you think this place is good enough?" He asked and climbs out of the water.

Espik climbs out too and glances bahind her.
"Good! In!" She picks Tehra up with her tail and dives into the hole.

Breath gets into the hole right after her.
"Now we have to wait?This hunter thingy sounds scary." He said slightly feared.

Espik looked out of the hole at the hunter that had just half-crashed next to the water.
SHe backed away and huddled next to Breath as it roared.

Breath crawls back further into the small hole and leans onto the wall.
"Better to stay quiet..." Then he silents and just watches the tiny entrance not trying to make himself,Espik or Tehra noticeable to the hunter.

The huge spiked Dragon growled, roared, then lashed at the water with it's tail boefore flying away.
Espik was curled into a ball with her claws over her eyes.

Breath stretches his head out of the hole and looks around.
He wants to make sure that the hunter is gone.
"I..I think it's gone.I can't see it around here anymore." He breathes relived.

Tehra and Espik crawled out of the gap slowly.
"Look gone." Tehra said.
Espik sat down and stared at her tail.

Breath drinks a few sips of the water.
"I like the water." His skin is not pale anymore and his blue stripes got a really deep blue colour after he was done drinking.
"Should we continue our way or rest a bit?" He asked.

Espik looked at the more hilly area ahead of them.
"Maybe... just get to that cave..." She said.

"Good idea." Breath nods and heads towards the hilly area.
"We should be secure for a bit...hopefully." He continues walking.

Soon they reach the cave.
Elixahn looked inside.
"No-one here. Look safe..."

Breath enters the cave and smiles.
"Finally something after all." He giggles and lays down at the side of the cave where the wind can't reach him.
"I'll rest for a bit." He says and lays down stretched,folds his wings and lays down his head between his both frontpaws.

Espik went over to the slightly smalled Dragon and lay down beside him.
"What do you think it will be like there?"

Breath tries to imagine it. "Uhhm..I really got no idea.I just try to imagine how many others of our kind are there."
He keeps thinking about it and comes to an end after a while.

"I imagine big waters and leafies! And no Sharp-Jaw Hunters."
Espik put a leg around Breath and nuzzled him happily.

Breath nuzzles back.
"That sounds great.I hope we will see something like that on the other side." He said and falls asleep.
He dreams about this land...big leaves...many of their kind and peace.

Espik slept beside the hatchling, dreaming of similar things.
