Time of Darkness

- Place -

Arcan regained his eyes and went to Narsara, then sat next to her.
"Are you... alright?" He asked her.
"Uh..." She opened her left eye and looked up at him. "I would be if you wern't sitting on me...?"
"Oh, oh... sorry..." He said quickly.
Narsara eyed him as he wobbled back a little.
"Don't. just... don't." He said to her. He'd always been able to tell when she was doing that. He coughed. "So, are you injured?"
"Not badly." Narsara said, sitting up.
Arcan turned Exodus' red stone over in his claws.
For him, it was the only thing be could properly see; it was like something that might be burned into your vision after looking at a light.
"Do you have a plan?" Narsara asked.
"Yes. I'm going to use this for what it should have been intended for." Arcan tucked the stone away. "But I need her alive to do it."
"Nara?" Narsara cocked her head. "I don't..."
She paused.
"But I thought you-"
"I did, but not like that. You think to extremes." Arcan shook his head.
Narsara shrugged as Viahl sat on a boulder near them.
He looked at Serak, but said nothing.
"So, you... arn't trying to kill eachother at the moment?" He coughed. "Or me."
"Get me a stick." Arcan said, ignoring his statement.
"A stick?"
"Yes, about... this long." Arcan held his claws abotu a mete apart.
"Uhm, okay." Viahl got up and moved to some trees a short distance away.
"I'd ask where we got him from," Arcan said, "but the conversation would probably make my brain implode."

- ? ? ? ? ? ? ? -
Naralda watched the dead Horseman for a few moments.
"And stay dead" She muttered, continuing to walk.
She played with a small Frost ball which floated around her fingers.
Nara began to smell burning wood before seeing a burning castle up ahead.

-Place-

When Viahl returned with the stick, Arcan had given a brief outline to his plan - not the best plan ever.
So far, he'd only told them they needed to head to some olf castle.

-Near the Castle-

The hooded figure watched Nara.
"Hello, again..." She said.
From her tree, she should be able to-
The figure jumped out of the tree.

- Dark Forest -
Naralda jumped at the sound and turned on quickly around, and put her hood up quickly, Naralda saw a person falling to the ground.
"Who are you?" She asked suspiciously, moving her left hand slowly under her cloak and drawing a blackened sword. Her purple eyes darted to look and something to the right then rested again on the new comer.

-Dark Forest-

"Ugh..." She stood up.
Larhan rubbed her head.
"Where is he?" She glared at Nara.

- Dark Forest -
"If you mean, Arcan, If he is not underground I do not know" She said.
"We got seperated, in the rui- Eh, some ruins"
The frostball Naralda was playing with disappeared.
"However, the- those ruins are filled with Monsters" She lied.

- Dark Forest -

Larhan summoned a ball of fire into her hand.
"Why are you going there all alone, then?"

"Because Ruin monsters are weak to frost spells" She replied, this was not technially a lie, as Dark ruin monsters is weak to both light and frost
."And, I am quite fast, those monsters are slow." Naralda also said.
"And Arcan is not down there, because, lets just say those ruins have ways to see other things, and I was not heading down there actually"

Larhan sighed.
"The others are dead." She said, coughing to hide her emotions.
She leaned on a tree.
"He's the only person I have left."

"I see, he left through a doorway in the ruins, it exited just beyond this forest, the Wraith Forest to be exact" She said, sounding slightly worried about something.
She looked around warily.
"Listen to me, this... forest... is filled with creatures, very dangerous ones, especially werewolves, and avoid the wraith elves" She said, beginning to walk northwards.
"I believe Arcan is this way"

- Forest -

Larhan eyed Nara.
"Alright..." She glanced around.


-Somewhere else??-

Arcan held the stick in front of him to avoid walking into anything.
"I miss you, my dear eye." He said woefully.
Viahl sat on a log.
"What exactly are you trying to find?"

- Dark Forest -
"Quickly" Nara said, looking around. A wolf howled in the distance and she jumped.
"Probably just a normal wolf" Naralda murmured.
A wolf rushed jumped out in front of them then ran into some bushes.

-Forest-

Larhan watched her.
"Your name... Nara?"
She wondered where Arcan was... who he was.

"Naralda actually" She muttered feebly.
"Which is demonic for something I don't wish to discuss"
She pulled her hood down slightly and her white hair fell down.
She started to play with a frost ball again, humming.

Larhan looked at her.
"Demonic? I see..."
She summoned a ball of fire and batted it back and forth.
"So, you were with Arcan. What happened?"

"We were exploring the ancient ruins under us, a sorceror. A kind of creature, threw a fire ball at me, it missed and hit the wall, it collasped and seperated me and Arcan" Naralda said.
"I then cleared the rest of the ruins out by myself"

Larhan rubbed her arm.
"So, where do you think he is... now?"
She doubted he'd be stupid enough to stay in some ruin all week.

"I believe he is past these woods... over there" She said, they had just exited the forest and were now walking to where she was pointing.
"Somewhere around there, not sure where exactly however" Naralda informed her.
She walked down the hill.

-Near the foresty place-

Larhan looked around the place.
"I know this place." She said.


-Not so far away-

The ground became so unstable as to force Arcan to make some eyes.
Doing that made him feel even more weak that usual, but it was what he saw that made him feel...
Bad.
"Uh... we can't go there." He said.
Viahl turned back to him.
"What? Why?"
"I just can't." Arcan said, backing away a little.
"You said 'I' that time." Viahl said.
"He can't go there. It's because he's afraid of that place." Narsara said quietly.
Viahl looked at the 'place' Arcan seemed to have such a phobia of.
"It's so intimidating." He remarked.
"Bad things happened there." Arcan said.
Viahl turned to Narsara.
"What is he talking about?"
Narsara waved a hand and shook her head.
"There's a marshy part not so far away... they... we - I mean... I, I..."

- Forest, exteriror -
Nara stopped for a moment.
She looked down and pushed her hand into the ground and pulled something out, a dead black creature.
"Clawatan" She hissed, dropping the dead creature to the ground.
She started to walk again.

- Forest, exterior -

Larhan looked at the dead thing.
"Lovely."


- Elsewhere -

"I'm not going there. You can't make me. It will not happen." Arcan said, and by the sound of his voice, he meant it.
"It's... just a field..." Viahl looked at it.
"No, no, no, no, it's much more than a field..." Arcan stood next to a withered tree.

- Unnamed Region -
Nara stopped again and fell to the floor.
"They... were here..." She muttered, getting up.
She took something from under her robe, careful to hide it from Larhan.
Nara put it back.
"I think, this way"

- Wherever -

Larhan narrowed her eyes at Nara.
"You weren't the first person to come close to killing him."
She said quietly.

- Somewhere else, not too far away -

Narsara sighed.
"Okay, I know the last time we were here wasn't so nice for you, but this was your idea."
Arcan sighed.
"I always forget my mind." He said.
"How do you 'forget your mind'?" Viahl asked.
"I mean, I was... different." Arcan said. "But, you know that. Too well."

- Unnamed Region -
"I expected that" Nara said.
"I was not actually trying to kill him though..."
She stopped for a moment, lost in thought.
"What happened to the Goliath?"

- U R -

Larhan stopped.
"The Goliath was here?"
She shifted.
"I ran away from him."

- Region -
"He was not here, apart from Arcan, and some others, the only thing here are Talcans" She said, walking on.
"Why did you run away from him?"
