Time of Darkness

- Aduna, Arena -
The Smalkins, which were deaf, could not hear the screaming and threw axes and sticks and other strange items at Shadowsong.
Alazan covered his ears before disappearing inside the castle.
The undead kept commentating but couldn't be heard.

The shadows coiled around several onjects and started firing them back at the undead.
"Does anyone want to know why my name is Shadowsong?" The screech sounded.

The form, shapeless almost, cackled.
ribbons of light, dark light, -was that possible?- extended and started breaking everything they could.
Arcan and Narsara had seen this before.
The old dead life-manipulator, though, lacked the strength to run anymore.
Narsara had since caught Larhan with her own spells and transported them.
Where?
He wouldn't find out.
Arcan sat, a little like a nervous... wary, snake.
He silently complimented the size of the tendril that now loomed over him, seemingly willing to try to scare him to death, or suffocate him with it's shadows.
He wondered if she remembered him, what she did.
The Necromancer eyed this thing.
"The manipulation of life and death. An interesting idea."

- Aduna, Arena -

The smallkins were blasted away.
The undead commentator had only just realized Alazan was gone.
"Kalcayt. He must of started the interrogation without me, Kalck"
The skeleton glanced at Shadowsong then disappeared into the palace.

- Aduna, Arena -

Shadowsong stood over Arcan and hummed.
"Half-blodded creature. You no longer deserve a purpose for living."
Arcan took out Exodus's stupid sharp red stone and stuck it out in front of him with his eyes closed.
Shadowsong screamed and Arcan sensed Exodus cry.
He was about to make some cool remark when he felt his own sharp pain.
"Huh.. that's... funny..." Arcan laughed weakly.
He saw no reason not to close his eyes now.

- Aduna -
"Regardless Kelen. I should deal with this, you just keep them distracted" Alazan said.
"Fine" Hissed the lich. Raising a couple of undead and floating down the corridor.
He went to the balcony with the skeleton archers.

- Aduna -

Arcan shoved Shadowcry off of him and fell backwards.
After a moment he leaned over him, his fangs pushing against his tounge.
"Idiot."

- Aduna, Palace Balcony -

Kelen waited.
"Firan" He said in wraitherian.
The skeleton archers fired shadow arrows into the sky that fell near Arcan and Shadowsong.

- Aduna -

"No! Why do I get stabbed then shot at?" Arcan coughed, his eyes watering.
He realised that was a pretty dim question.
Exodus had shrivveled to a small dark snake that glared at him with beady eyes, before dissapearing with a strangely loud scream.
Arcan decided to sit there and hoped not to be killed.

- Aduna -
"Wairta, Li Sento"
The Arrows stopped being fired.
The Lich, Kelen, drew his cloak around him and jumped down. Landing on the floor with a load crash.
"Lan terra nay vera"
He began to march towards Arcan.

Arcan hissed and moved swifly out of the way.
"Mire?" He squinted.

- Aduna -
"I see you are familiar with my brother's... 'pet'" He spat.
"Archlich Kelen Dusksorrow" He said.
He strided closer.
"And you, you, are the one called... 'Arcan', am I not right?"

- Aduna -

Arcan growned somethign in Argoni then a language he might have understood, then added;
"Yes, isn't it obvious? Lich-vampire-dead thing who has a habit of loosing eyes and dying? Of course."

- Aduna -

"Not particulary, however..." He began.
"It is quite rare for necromancers to visit Aduna, with the exception of my kin"
He walked slightly closer.

- Aduna -

Arcan put his hand on the handle of the blade Shadowcry had stuck him with.
"Uh..." He coughed, shook his head then looked at him.
"Please don't impale me with some painful object. I only want to torture Mire. I'm really, really, a nice person." He said blandly.

- Aduna -
"This could work for both of us, you distract Mire long enough for me to question someone without my brother interfering" He said.
He summoned a skeleton.
"Hmm"

- Aduna -

"Your family, is as messed up as mine." Arcan told him.
He coughed and pulled the kinfe, then hissed to himself.
"Skee, skee, dragth, nach! Nach! Painful!" The Necromancer shook himself.
"Okay... how does one torture a slime ball?"

- Aduna -
"Magic, there is one common mistake while fighting Alazan" He began.
"People expect to use their swords, the problem is is that Alazan creates all his undead as Spectral beings with the exception of Skeletons, so most people have trouble with them"
"And he does a good job at making them look like corporal beings"

- Aduna -

"Ahk. Great. I havn't used proper fighting magic sonce I was about thirty..." Arcan shuddered.
He shrugged and lit a small blue flame in his hand, then let it go to form his fire servant, a thing with overly-large 'claws' and jaws that, had they been solid, could have torn Arcan into several small bits of skin. And bone. And teeth. And other things.

- Aduna -
I'll leave you to it" He said simply, and walked off.
A familiar purple form came out of the ground.
"Hahahaaaaaa, you death shall Pleasssseee Alazan" He appeared to be able to talk in his 'true form' now.

Arcan put his hood up.
"We'll see about that." - with red eyes.
The flame servant screamed and twisted. Slime oozed from it's 'eyes' and claws.
"Mire...." It groaned. "... Master has not learned not to use the memory of the dead!" It screamed. "YOU SHALL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES AGAINSt THE MATHICA!" It screamed.
It steadied itself again, oozing a reddish slime.
"Try me."

Mire threw a ball of purple slime at the fire servant.
Mire then cloned two 'Shadow Mires'. The form then three two Shadow balls at the fire servant.

- Aduna -

The servant screeched and Arcan, who had his eyes closed and was kneeling, grolwed.
The firey creature raised it's head threw multiple fireballs at Mire.
"If you had a neck to break, yours would be my next to shatter!"

- Aduna -
Mire silently cackled, and deflected the fireballs quite easily with shadow magic.
"I tire of Arcansssssssssssss now, therefore, I shall end you"
Mires small form was then hit by electric, and grew to the size of an elf. He also had electricity flowing down his form.
He moved one of his 'arms' and threw a pike of electricity at the fire minion.

Arcan coughed and opened his eyes, wheezing.
"Mire, you killed my offspring. Do you know how much that irritated my good side?"
He formed a ball of what looked like blue flame but, knowing Arcan, probably wasn't.

"I have a new script"

Mire threw a piece of wood down at Arcans feet. It landed on the ground and caught fire.
"You talk too much, and work too hard"
