Time of Darkness

- Aduna -

Arcan raised anoter shield, which, he felt, was draining him quite rapidly.
Narsara drew up a flame creature.
"I don't think he liked you making his guards kill themselves." She told Arcan, sending it to fight the large skeletal creature.
"That was not my fault. If Dusksorrow had any sense, he'd get troops who actually had a brain between them! Like, say, you. Or our bloody friend. He doesn't have a proper brain but he'd be better." Arcan said, finding some cover.

- Aduna -

Alazan watched from a balcony with interest.
"Tell me... how does it feel to watch your friends... torn apart... and there is nothing you can do about it.
Nara drew the dagger she'd hidden and threw it at Alazan, who easily deflected it.

The Dragon threw another five iceballs at the party.

- Aduna -

A ball of fire hit the skeletal dragon from somewhere in the sky.
A metal-clad creature flew past Alazan's balcony, screeching.
There was a flash of shadow as a figure of similar stature to Arcan made a jump for the ledge.
This was a particularly stupid but neccecary act, he reminded himself as he stuck his dagger into a pillar to stop himself falling backwards, and clamped his clawed feet onto it too.

- Aduna -
The skeletal dragon roared then started to litter the sky with Frost Balls.

"Escort my 'sister' to her chambers, I will deal with her later" Alazan said to the guards who dragged Naralda away.
Alazan turned. He wondered who this new 'guest' was.

Arcan looked up at the metal-armored dragon who was dodging the ice balls and spitting fire back at the skeletal dragon.

Alazan's guest looked down at the small battle.
"Do you try to kill them?"

- Aduna -
The dragon collasped suddenly. A purple spirit flew into Alazan's hand.
"Enough games..." He threw his sword which implanted itself firmly into the Skeletal dragons skull which was near Arcan. Probably a accident.
"You... really... think..."

- Aduna -

"I presume that Naralda..." The "Shadowsong" started. "From what I know of her she seems to be a cause of major irritation to several people."
He turned to Alazan and blinked, his lizard-like eyes shining.
"So, you are Dusksorrow, one of?"

- Aduna -

Alazan laughed.
"She was a major Irritation to several people, that was my doing, but you'll never prove it to those fools" He said.
"I assume Arcan is your friend?"

- Aduna -

Shadowsong slputtered with laughter.
"Well, he is my decendant. But I don't know him. His parents would never let me see him. Fools, as they were."
He sighed, then looked down at the dragon, who had landed.
"A shame she killed him... well, not for you. For him. Oh, yes - I talk even more than he does. Hello. I am known as Shadowsong, Mathica, and I am a Necromancer too. Only two in the family... they seemed to have some creed that Necromancy was a no-no."
He grinned.

- Aduna -
"Long story short, I would not imagine of getting in the way of another Necromancers Conquer-Hal-Plans"
He turned.
"Not technially true, there was that one time but still"
"Goodbye!" He walked towards the door.

- Aduna -

"What? You can't just turn you back on me, Dusksorrow." Shadowsong hissed.
He laughed.
"Well, did you know why people didn't like fighting Mathica?"

- Aduna -

"Tell the My dragon" He said, walking off.

The dragons head was floating now, powered by the sword that implanted itself in the skull.
It breathed A frostball at Shadowsong.

Shadowsong, in irritation, stabbed at Alazan's mind with his own, then a large ball of fire and rock fell on the head of the dragon.
"I'm not like Arcan. He will never be as powerful as me."
A small terdril of shadow reached down from the sky and wrapped around the pillar used before, breaking it for no apparent reason.

- Aduna -

Alazan stopped, easily shrugging off the mind assualt.
"It appears my suspicision about your true nature appears to be correct. I have some guests - far from the... 'lush' continent of Cryalt."
He raised a undead on a balcony above him then walked through the door and exited.
The undead began to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen, introducing, THE FROST FURIES!"
Three strange ice-like creatures jumped onto the balcony Shadowsong was on.
Alazan walked beside the undead on the higher balcony.
"Still, may aswell enjoy the show"
A Frost Fury summoned its ice spear and threw it at Shadowsong.

Shadowsong threw up a claw and consumed the spear in flames.
A dark tendril reached down and clawed at the Frost Fury.
"The shadow in the sky, do you know what it really is?"

- Aduna -

Alazan ignored him.
The Frost Fury was quickly felled.
"She couldn't dodge it in time, and I think its a she, its quite hard to tell" The undead commented.
The other two Frost Furies threw ice-spears at him.

- Aduna -

Shadowsong dodged them, then turned as he heard a grating screech.
"You let us die! How could you let us all die?" Shadowsong watched the Dragon snarling at Arcan, it's voice was twisted, containing many.
"Why?"
Shadowsong looked back at his foes, then noticed he had been grazed very slightly.
"Hmm. 'At least, I still have blood', Dusksorrow."

- Aduna -

One the the Frost Furies jumped and slashed its make-shift sword at Shadowsong.
The other summoned a Frostball.
She threw it at Shadowsong.

- Aduna -

Shadowsong grabbed the Frost Fury by it's face and growled at it with disgust, using it as a shield.
"I expected more a fight form you! Do you know of when I had power?"

- Aduna -

Alazan sighed.
"And she couldn't jump out of the way in time! How tragic." The Undead Commentator Stated.
"Hey, don't treat foreign visitors like that, it makes a bad impression on Hal you know. Still, now you've dealt with them, lets play a game..."

"THE WHEEL OF RAMPAGING CREATURES. Its quite simple, I spin, you Die We watch".
He spun the wheel and it landed on a strange kind of face.
Sixteen undead rose around him.
"And proud to introduce, the MUMMIES!" The undead Commentator said.

- Aduna -

Shadowsong extended his claw and a pillar of shadow rose to meet it.
It expanded slowly and make a growling noise as it formed a creature roughtly his height.
The creature looked down at it's shadowy form and huffed, wrapping it's outer layers together and forming a sort of whitish robe.
Two red eyes sparked where it's face might be, and a dark, twisting, distorted tounge snaked out and flicked around.
"Hmm... Hello." It said, in a voice that would match Arcan in a foul mood.

The undead Commentator Started talking about mummies.
"We've been advised not to call them 'Zombies in Wrappers' - the Mummy Anti-Defamation League is getting stronger all the time."
The Mummies started to move closer to Shadowsong.

The shadowy figure extended a series of shadowy tendrils, which were all placed on the 'heads' of each of the undead.
"Is there a polite way to say 'get lost'?" It asked.

Ooc: Can you please not post links to other forums in a Roleplay thread?
And I don't care if its a roleplay forum, it is not allowed in any of my Roleplay threads.
I actually stated this in a EA UK PM.

- Aduna, Palace Arena -
The mummies fell to the floor, one got back up, walked three steps then fell down again.
Fifteen tiny creatures were teleported into the arena.
"Introducing, the smalkins!" Shouted the Undead.
"Smalkins is a shorter version of Small King, however the person who discovered them, samwse nogramar, could not use his grammar correctly and they were called Smalkins" He commentated.
A smalkin threw a axe at Shadowsong.

Shadowsong dodged it.
"Inferia." He said.
A few shadows gathered into an orb next to him, then started screeching.

- Aduna, Arena -
The Smalkins, which were deaf, could not hear the screaming and threw axes and sticks and other strange items at Shadowsong.
Alazan covered his ears before disappearing inside the castle.
The undead kept commentating but couldn't be heard.
