Time of Darkness

OOC - Out?

"We can't be that far from the village where we came from. After we spoke with Arcan and Nara, we didn't come that far... Let's go back."

-WRAITHERIA, Wraith with ERIA on the end-
"Arcan, are you alright...?" She asked, worried.

-Ravine-

Larhan nodded unsurely.
"Okay." She climbed a few rocks.

-Wraith-eria-

"No..." Arcan's claw fell to the ground.
He felt colder than he ever had, at that moment.
Also, Arcan was aware of his injuries. He's been split open a bit like a fish, on his left side.
It wasn't so deep, but it was long.

"Right. We came from that direction", Myrien said, survying their surroundings. He half-supported, half-carried Dynis as they attempted to climb out of the ravine.

Nara couched and looked at him.
"Where is the wound?" She asked.

-City forest-
Hal rose into the sky then roared.
"Foolish humans..."

-Wraith-eria-

"All down... there." He waved his heavy claw down his left side, then tapped the metal plate on his chest. "But... that is... broken..."

-Ravine-

Larhan pulled herself over the edge.
Cahan followed silently.
"Lovely." It muttered as it started to rain.

-Wraitheria-
Nara took her purple cape off.
"Put this over the wound, it should stop the bleeding long enough, if we can get to the Inn I could do more"

Dynis shivered. She was pale and looked sick, teeth clenched with pain.
"We must hurry. Perhaps we can arrive their before Nightfall", Myrien said. He swallowed. "Quick."
He set off in the direction he had pointing at, still supporting Dynis. Larhan and Cahan followed.
"Is the pain bad, Dynis?"

Arcan did that, although when he stood, his body felt like lead and his legs felt like twigs.
"I hate this feeling..." He said sadly.

-Near the Ravine-

Cahan moved ahead.
"I will try to get help." It said, then ran off.

- Wraitheria -
"Arcan, can you get to the inn?" She asked.

-???-

Hal noticed some soldiers.

"Thank you." Myrien's look was relieved.
"Cahan! Wait!"
She turned.
"Yes."
"Shall we wait here?"

"Thank you." Myrien's look was relieved.
"Cahan! Wait!"
She turned.
"Yes."
"Shall we wait here?"

-Wraitheria-

Arcan looked at her.
"Maybe..." He swayed slightly.
He coughed.
"I'd miss you."

-Near the Ravine-

"Just take it slow." Cahan said. "Don't move if you can't."

"If you can get help..." He paused. "Dynis must be kept warm. And if her leg becomes worse... we will wait."
"Larhan, let us find a shelter from this rain. Over their, the overhanging rock."
He nodded to Cahan in farewell. "May you return soon."

Nara sighed, they were just outside of the inn, the door afew steps away.
She went up to the door and opened it. "Lets go in then?"

-Wraitheria-

"I would... if I could..." Arcan squinted.
He managed to raise a claw and rub his eye.


-Somewhere-

Larhan hurried to find shelter. Once she had, she returned to help them.
"It should keep us dry. Nothing amazing, though."

"Dynis, lie down." He spread out his cloak on the ground, then wrapped it around her. "Do we have a blanket?"

-Somewhere-

Larhan set her staff down and rummaged though her pack.
"Yes," She got it out.
The blanket was a blue one, and very warm.

-Wraitheria-
Nara sighed.
"Do you want a hand?" She asked, offering hers, though it was quite obvious she didn't particulary want to do it.

The rain beat to the ground around them. The grass was wet, and the trees that still stood were dripping with the raindrops.
"Dynis, are you warm enough?"
She shivered.

Dynis had fainted again.
A shocked pause.

"DAMN!"

Arcan stared at her for a moment.
He tried to say something, but it just came out a a gurgle.
Arcan wondered, for a moment, why...?
Then he realized he couldn't breath, and coughed up a large amount of blood.
He shook his head.

-Cavey-thing-

Larhan summoned a flame and started a small fire near her.

"Dynis." Myrien knelt next to her. "Wake up." He slapped her cheek lightly, but no success.
He looked at the ground, frustrated and despaired.
"I hope Cahen is quick."

-Wraitheria-
"Arcan!" Nara said, rushing to his side.
"Are you allright?"

-Wraitheria-

"No." Arcan said, honestly. "But, at least I am not alone."

-Cave-

Larhan sat down and waited.

-Wraitheria-
"Don't die Arcan" Nara whimpered weakly.

- ???? -
Hal roared before flying off in another direction, he noticed a ravine.
He beat his wings, swooped down into it, checked to see it was safe, then landed and went to sleep.

The the rain did not stop. The three sat under a steel-grey sky and waited. Dynis did not wake.
Nor did Cahan come.
