Time of Darkness

Nara didn't hear him and just stared at the sky. Lost in her own thoughts.

Something seemed to snap into place inside Arcan, causing his eye to twitch, and make a slight squeal.
Viahl, head in his hands, mumbled;
"For the king of the undead, your pain endurance... fails..."

Nara continued looking at the sky.
"Maybe Naralda, maybe there it can be found..."

Arcan opened his eye, looking a bit confused.
"What?" He asked, blinking up at her.
He suddenly scrambled into a more upright position.
"Oh my god!" He screeched.

Nara looked over at him.
"What... what...?" She asked.

"I don't HAVE a heart, so what is that noise!?" He said, half to himself, looking shocked and confused.

Naralda looked at him, even more confused then him.
"Wha...?"

Arcan started laughing manically, then put a claw on his head.
"Like, like, maybe something akin to a pulse?" He said, questioning his sanity slightly.

"Err..." Nara said, looking over at Viahl.

Viahl shrugged.
I don't know...?

Nara sighed.
"Arcan, can you be quiet please, I'm trying to listen, I thought I heard..." Nara began, then thought: Better make up a none-existent animal quickly.
"Gamon's, they are very-" A roar was heard and a beast walking on two legs walked into the clearing.

Arcan stopped laughing.
"What is that?"

OOC: IS IT... A PIG-LIZARD??

Ooc: Eh, No.

"I forgot Gomons actually existed" Naralda muttered to herself.
The walking Bear-Creature walked in a straight line and slashed on of its Claw-Arms at Arcan.

Arcan stared at it in horror for a moment, before doing his best to back away on all fours.

The creature missed then followed Arcan in a straight forward pattern.
"Get behind it! It can only move foward, it has to move foward to turn, no, it doesn't make much sense" Naralda said.

Arcan raised the eyebrow that had no eye in a bewildered expression, but did as he was told.

The Creature walked forward and slanted to move other ways making it in a position to be knocked over.

Arcan used one of it's legs to help move himself away from it, hoping it may also put it off-balance.

The creature fell to the floor but used it to its advantage and burrowed. It unburrowed behind Arcan and tried to rake him with its claws.

Arcan didn't have time to move.
He held a branch that lay on the ground nearby up to defend himself, only to have the creature cut it in two.
Arcan looked at the two bits of wood in his his claws then dropped them, and would have moved sooner if his claw wasn't stuck.

The creatured suddenly Rroamed.
A sword was though its body.
"I assume I wasn't too late?"

Arcan blinked.
"What...?"

The dagger was drawn out of the beast.
"Fine, take all the credit" Naralda said, moving the silver hair away from her eyes.

"I wasn't taking any credit." Arcan said sharply.

"You were, now your just trying to pretend your weren't because you don't want to Upset because because I can obviously beat you because I had no trouble handling the beast" Nara said, smiling slightly.

Arcan put a claw on his chest.
"Like I don't know that already?" He said, smiling a little.
