Arcan put a claw on his chest.
"Like I don't know that already?" He said, smiling a little.

"Anyway... What was a creature from Nath- Oh yes, the cave systems..." Nara muttered.

Arcan frowned.
"Will you... please stop doing that?"

"Doing what?" Naralda asked.

"Cutting off halfway into a sentence. Why do you do that?" Arcan looked at her.

"That is because- Err..." Nara muttered.

"You're doing it again." Arcan said.

"Err... I do it because... err... I just do, is that clear?" Naralda said angrily.

Arcan held up his hands.
"Hey, what's wrong?"

"Of- Nothing is wrong" Naralda snapped.

Arcan got a slightly hollow feeling.
"Oh... fine..." He sighed.

"Sorry..." She said, before walking east slightly deeper into the woods.

"Are you leaving?" Arcan called after her.

"I want to be alone for some time..." She said.

"If I asked you to, would you let me die?" He asked, standing now.

"... No Arcan..." She said.

"Why?"

"... Don't ask me these questions...!" She snapped, before disappearing into the woods.

Arcan's own temper frayed.
Something bright and quite hot hit the ground behind Nara.

Nara screeched and threw a Shadow ball at Arcan before running off out of sight.

He'd wanted to say he was sorry.
But he couldn't talk anymore, and soon he gave up.
He couldn't see well, either. Everything was... blurry.
Viahl had shouted something and caught him, but his mind was elsewhere.
Even the screech of Serak did nothing.

It was his question, and his answer.
The usual cause-and-effect of life.
And death, it seemed.

Nara ran intill she was at the edge of the forest, exhausted.
"Never shall I let myself become attached to a person... Never..." She muttered Angrily.
She walked out of the forest slowly and tried to remember the land, she turned west.

Arcan could hear them now;
They were telling him what to do - not to die.
What if he wanted to die?
What was there for him to live fore now?
He told Viahl what he'd never believed.
That was the last thing he remembered.

Nara continued, not bothering to cover her tracks. She muttered something angrily then realized she had left her sword.

Serak stayed quiet.
There was nothing to say, or do.
He'd never known Arcan as he knew himself.
Viahl, he had. But he didn't hate him anymore.

"I'll go on without one, Duskshadow was a vampire itself anyway" She reasoned.
"I'll head to the tomb however, see if I can stop those Demons"
